Designing the school administration offices

Designing an office for the school management team which on the one hand creates a calm atmosphere for the students and on the other hand creates a pleasant work environment for the management and secretarial team.

As part of the project, a total renovation of a space with an area of about 60 square meters was carried out inside the school. Instead, it is necessary to make a new planning division and find creative solutions to create functional work spaces alongside storage solutions as required for this type of office..

The planning of the space is intended to encourage interactions, to contribute to the strengthening of interpersonal ties and to lead to closer cooperation between the secretaries, and therefore it was designed as an open space, while for the workers who need more privacy, a separation of a half-height plaster wall combined with glass partitions was planned, which on the one hand create separation and on the other hand allow to maintain eye contact with the employees.

From understanding the effects of lighting on productivity, and the mood of the audience visiting the place – students and employees – a thorough and careful lighting characterization was carried out that referred to all the important parameters: correct distribution of the lighting fixtures in the space, the power of the lighting fixtures and the exact shade of light to create an optimal work environment.
